Chico Basin Artist Gathering 10th Annual Exhibition

In late June, just before the 4th of July, a group of talented artists painted en plein air at the Zapata Ranch in south central Colorado for the Annual Artists Gathering. Now, in September, we are celebrating our Gathering with an exhibit of our work from the Zapata Ranch experience. This year the Exhibit will be held at the Chico Basin Ranch presented by Duke and Janet Phillips, managers for both the Chico Basin and Zapata Ranch Outfits.
This is a wonderful venue with all the paintings hanging on walls made of hay bales! Bring the kids and enjoy your time on a real western working ranch. |

Representing the West, an annual national and invitational exhibition, displays traditional and representational art in a realist tradition. Artwork represented in this exhibit depicts the western American genre including the diversity of the land and its people. Artists must be practicing full-time professionals of proven reputation working in representational manner.

I am honored to be juried into this special annual event. Jackson Hole, WY, where the exhibit will be held, is a wonderful exciting and unusual western town. Mountain Trails Gallery on the square in Jackson will host the show. I am thrilled to return once again to Jackson and especially find my work in Mountain Trails Gallery! Please put Jackson on your calendar for October this year, visit Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks (just up the road) and visit the gallery to purchase some wonderful paintings by the talented Members of Oil Painters of America.
